The Sunday Creative... Timeworn

Today I decided, since I've never participated in a blog-wide photochallenge before, that I'd try The Sunday Creative from Madeline Bea.

This weeks challenge is 'timeworn'. Something that has been worn down by time itself. And I had the perfect idea.

An old stack of Swedish Bibles that mother scored on at an estate sale. Scored. On. I mean, seriously, these things are vintager than vintage (if that's even possible...).

I think it's decided. These babies are old.

  1. I love the textures here, the old books and the table they are on and the textures overall, a fantastic shot

  2. I LOVE THIS PHOTO!! Those Swedish Bibles are from 1886 and they cost me 25 cents each. One quarter each! The only thing I love more than that deal is this photo. Perfectly lovely, dearie.

  10. Lovely photograph! I have an old Swedish bible somewhere too. I might have to dig through some old boxes to find it but I am sure it is not as time worn as yours!
