One of Many Elephants

To be honest, I don't have a clue when my obsession began. Which means, I'm not quite sure which elephant was my first. But what I am (almost completely) sure of is which is my favorite.

I got little 'Corduroy' here last Christmas. It was love at first sight, a few weeks before, at a 'Pier One Imports' store when I snatched it up, hugged it, and begged my mom for possession. (Normally I don't ask for things on the spot two week before Christmas...) But believe me, you would too if you felt its velvety-soft fur and adorable little corduroy patches.

When I tore open the gift wrap that Christmas morning, there was no doubt a scream involved. Why wouldn't there be? Especially if its an elephant? And even more, the elephant that caused me to beg on my hands and knees just for its possession?

Yes.

I guess you could say I'm a little obsessed with those wrinkly, little (no--giant) animals. But what can I say? They're just so... adorable!
